Maria Severa Pangelinan

Maria has been practicing Okinawan karate for almost ten years and is a second-degree black belt. As a biology major studying at George Mason University, Maria hopes of pursuing a career in the medical field. Maria has worked with kids for seven years and has experience babysitting school-aged children. She is very excited to be apart of NOVA Okinawan Karate's first summer camp. Her favorite Pokémon is Jirachi. 
Miguel Juan Pangelinan

Miguel has been working as one of the primary instructors at the NOVA Okinawan Karate Dojo for two years and has recently been promoted to his second-degree. Those who have worked with Miguel have noticed that, although he is big in stature, he exudes a calm disposition and has been referred to as a "Gentle Giant." Because of his disposition, kids sense a genuine tenderness and gravitate to him. Miguel's favorite shark is Megladon. 
Jenna Corey
Summer Camp Coordinator
 
Jenna is a new member of the NOVA Okinawan Karate team. She has been a good friend of the Pangelinan family for several years and has worked with children for many years. In 2018, she graduated from South County High School. As a social work major at Liberty University, Jenna is passionate about families and children. She has dedicated time to her church community by volunteering for Vacation Bible School, doing mission work in Belize, and participating in her youth band. Jenna's favorite candy is Kit-Kat.
